Summer is upon us, and there are certain rules about your dogs which MUST be followed:

• NEVER leave a dog in a car in summer, even in the shade and with the windows cracked.
• Always take water along for your pet – especially if you are planning to leave your dog outside of a restaurant or a coffee shop and also if you are planning on taking your dog along when you exercise (it drives us crazy when we see people running around the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA with dogs on leashes and no water bottle)
• Don’t walk dogs on hot pavement because it can burn their feet.
